Trinity Lutheran tells April speakers

The schedule of programs for April for the Wednesday Community Fellowship series at Trinity Lutheran Church as been announced. Doors open at 3 pm  for social time. The speakers begin at about 4 and stay until there are no more questions. A light supper is served at 5:30, with a free will donation accepted.

The schedule follows:

Wednesday, April 2: Don Orris,  Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County.

Wednesday, April 9: Mike Palmer, Jefferson city administrator, the housing program in Jefferson. “Where We’ve Been, Where We Are, Where We’re Going”

Wednesday, April 16: Sarah Jo Reynolds, Greene County Extension youth and 4-H coordinator, “The 4-H Experience.” Learn more about the county 4-H program, upcoming events youngsters and adults can get involved with, and what to look forward to at the 2014 Greene County Fair.

Wednesday, April 23:  Sheriff Steve Haupert, synthetic marijuana, and also a video on the dangers of illegal prescription drug use. Chief deputy Jack Williams may bring K-9 Leo for an introduction.

Wednesday, April 30: Alan Robinson, program director of Jefferson Matters: Main Street. Celebrating the second year, and what comes next?
